In 2020, I customized Kinco leather gloves with hand-drawn designs, creating unique pieces that stood out to clients and the brand itself. This page showcases those projects, the recognition I received from Kinco, and the exciting opportunity to collaborate with a brand I admire.

GLOVE AT FIRST SIGHT

When I first began offering commissioned illustration work back in 2020, I wanted to explore creative ways to stand out. One of the unique services I provided was custom artwork on Kinco leather gloves. This concept combined functionality and artistry, and while I didn’t create many, these custom gloves quickly became a hit. The combination of high-quality craftsmanship and detailed, hand-drawn designs resonated with clients, making this project one of the most fun and memorable opportunities in my early career.

What made the experience even more special was when Kinco themselves noticed my work. They reached out to acknowledge the designs, sending me a generous assortment of their merchandise to customize further. Along with that, they included an official letter of recognition—a huge milestone and an incredible honor to receive recognition from one of my favorite brands.

This collaboration reinforced my passion for finding unconventional ways to merge art and everyday objects. It also highlighted the value of taking creative risks and staying authentic to what excites me as an artist. Although I no longer draw on gloves as a primary offering, the Kinco project remains a standout moment in my journey, reminding me of the rewards that come from embracing unique opportunities.
