Working the Plan

The project began with careful planning in my sketchbook. After discussing the direction with my clients, I started developing preliminary sketches, ensuring they captured Loki's personality and essence. Once I had sketches that my clients were satisfied with, I moved on to digital rendering. This allowed me to clean up the designs and plan the placement of details for the final pieces.With the designs finalized digitally, I translated them onto canvas. The process of outlining and transferring the drawings was meticulous, but it laid the foundation for the detailed inking to come. Adding detail and establishing a range of value was where the real magic happened. It took time, precision, and patience to make sure the final pieces captured the intricate textures and depth that brought Loki to life.
